School Council
Your Voice Matters at Brookville
Brookville School Council brings together parents, guardians, school staff and administration to support our school community and contribute to a positive school experience for all students.
School Council provides families with an opportunity to learn more about what is happening at Brookville, share ideas and feedback, and work collaboratively with the school on initiatives that support student achievement, well-being and our school community.
All Brookville parents and guardians are welcome to get involved — you do not need to be an elected Council member to participate.
Get Involved
There are many ways to take part in School Council:
Join School Council
Each fall, parents and guardians have an opportunity to become members of School Council for the school year. Council members participate regularly in meetings, discussions and Council initiatives.
Attend a Meeting
School Council meetings are open to all Brookville parents and guardians. You are welcome to join and hear school and Council updates, learn about upcoming initiatives, ask questions and share your ideas.
Meeting dates and details will be shared through the school’s weekly newsletter. Virtual attendance may also be available for meetings when indicated.
Volunteer
Throughout the year, we may need volunteers to help with programs and events such as Hot Lunch, fundraising activities and other school initiatives. Opportunities will be shared with families as they arise.
Share Your Feedback
You do not need to attend every meeting to have a voice. Council will periodically invite families to provide feedback through surveys and other opportunities throughout the school year.
