OTHS Announcement - 2026-2027

There will be a meeting for all those interested in playing 7's rugby this year at OT on Wednesday after school in the fitness centre.  Boys and girls from all grades are welcome to attend.  No experience is necessary

There will be a meeting at Lunch TODAY for all students interested in trying out for Abbey Parks’ football team.  All grades are welcome to attend the meeting.  Mandatory try-out forms will be handed out.  The meeting is in the Health Room (153), down by the Gyms at the start of lunch today.

Attention Girls in Grades 9 through 12.  If you are interested in trying-out for this year’s Varsity Girls Basketball team, there is a very important meeting at the start of lunch this Thursday at 11am in the Health Room, 153.  You will receive a medical form that must be completed and returned before the first try-out. 

Are you interested in trying out for OT’s golf team this year? All interested golfers must attend an important meeting TODAY in room 134 at the start of lunch.

For all those interested in being part of any of the music ensembles this year, there will be an information meeting at the beginning of lunch on Friday in the music room, 168.

Attention Girls in Grades 9 through 12. There will be an information session for all girls interested in trying out for Varsity Field Hockey in the gym today after school at 3pm. It will then be followed by tryouts. Medical forms are required for the tryout, but not the information session. Check OTathletics on Instagram for the Google Classroom code for more information. 

This announcement is for all boys interested in playing senior boys volleyball this year. There will be an extremely short but important meeting at 11:00am Thursday in the gym to give you important season information and pick up forms for the tryout Friday after school. Please be in the gym promptly at 11:00!

Reminder:  All student timetables should be set now.  You are where you need to be!

If there is a graduation requirement for a timetable change, your PARENT must submit the course change request into the google form today.  Any request submitted by a student email address or through an email to a counsellor is not reviewed.  

Why are cows such great runners? They have great calves! Those interested in being on the Cross country team this fall, we will have a very brief meeting on Monday the 14 at the beginning of lunch-  room 191! All are welcome. 

Interested in coming to Paris this March Break!?!?!?!  Come to a short meeting at the beginning of lunch Thursday in room 161.

Hey OT, the art department is going on a trip to Paris this March break. ALL STUDENTS ARE WELCOME!   See the Eiffel Tower, the Mona Lisa, Monet‘s water lilies,  ride the Ferris wheel in the Tuileries Gardens, see the graves of Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde and Beethoven at Père Lachaise Cemetery.

Have croissants for breakfast, crepes for dinner and pain au chocolate as a midnight snack,  you can even take a credit if you want to! Come see Ms. Zanini and Ms.Holbeche in room 161 at the beginning of  lunch on Thursday for more information.

Calling all grade 9 and 10 boys who are interested in trying out for the Junior Volleyball Boys Team! The first tryout will be next week on Wednesday, September 16th. Second tryout will be the following day!
