  • Students in our Community Pathways Program (CPP) will continue with their regular schedule and course programming.

  • Classes for students in all other programs conclude on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

  • Inclement Weather Day: Wednesday, January 28th, 2026

    • This becomes the make up date if on any evaluation date schools are closed due to inclement weather

  • Final Evaluation Block Review Day: Thursday, January 29, 2026

    • This day is an in-person day. Students will be provided the opportunity to review Final 30 work and receive feedback on their evidence of learning.

    • This date will involve a timetable where attendance is taken and students will meet in-person with their teachers for a review period. This is a shortened day - the schedule for this day is as follows:

**buses will run on their regular schedule

Period/Course 1     8:25 - 9:00
Period/Course 2     9:05 - 9:40
Period/Course 4     9:45 - 10:20
Period/Course 5     10:25 - 11:00

Information to note:

  • Exams and Performance Tasks comprise 30% of a student’s final grade.

  • The exact percentage breakdown is specified on the course outline for each course.

  • The detailed schedule is linked HERE for all classes that include a final evaluation / exam during the block of time January 22, 2026 to January 28th, 2026.

  • The only exceptions for missing a final evaluation day are for verified medical or compassionate reasons. Vacations should not be scheduled during any of the final evaluations as this can result in a grade of 0%.

  • Parents/Guardians must contact the school if their student is too ill to complete an evaluation on the scheduled day. Following a conversation with Administration, the evaluation will likely be rescheduled for the make up date on Wednesday January 28th, 2026.

  • All final evaluations are scheduled to take place in the student’s classroom, unless otherwise indicated on this schedule or by the classroom teacher.

  • The classroom teacher will indicate the best methods of preparation for the final evaluation(s). Here are some additional supports offered:

  • Grade 9 Support Cocoa and Cram: Jan 15th, 2026 after school in library

  • Teachers will likely request that all bags, coats, etc. be placed at the front of the room

  • We will have active hallway supervision and it will be important for students to exit the hallways quietly at the conclusion of their evaluation. Students will be asked to leave school promptly at the end of their evaluation. The only place where students will be permitted to go and be supervised at school will be in the library

  • Buses will run on their regular schedule during the evaluation block so we encourage students to plan for other methods of transportation at the conclusion of their morning evaluation

  • If a student is found to be academically dishonest during a final evaluation, the incident will be reported to the Vice Principal and a mark of 0 may be assigned. Teachers will be explicit about what materials can or cannot be used during the evaluation to prevent confusion.

Please note: the only exceptions for missing a final evaluation day are for verified medical or compassionate reasons. Vacations should not be scheduled during any of the final evaluations as this can result in a grade of 0%. Should you have concerns about an exam conflict, please reach out to a VP.
