A Message from Our Principal

Welcome to Limehouse Public School!

I am so excited to join the Limehouse Public School community as your new Principal! It is a true honour to step into a school with such a rich history, a dedicated staff, and wonderfully supportive families. I am excited to partner with our students, staff, and families to build upon the traditions that make Limehouse such a special place to learn and grow.

At Limehouse, we operate with a simple yet powerful conviction: Every student, every day, a success! We are proudly a "small school with a big heart" - a safe, inclusive space where every child is known, valued, and inspired to ask questions, take risks, and reach their full potential.

To guide our students in balancing both heart and mind, we anchor our school culture in three core values:

• Kindness: We believe learning begins with a sense of belonging. By practicing daily empathy and treating one another with dignity, we ensure every student feels safe and supported to be themselves.

• Gratitude: We foster an appreciation for our community, our peers, and our learning opportunities. Practicing gratitude keeps our students connected, positive, and grounded.

• A Growth Mindset: Intelligence and ability grow through effort. We encourage students to embrace challenges with courage and resilience; reminding them that struggling with a concept simply means they haven't mastered it yet.

We are incredibly fortunate to share such a beautiful natural setting. Through Place-Based Learning, we use our outdoor surroundings as a living laboratory to spark curiosity. Spending regular time in nature supports our students' mental health and emotional well-being.
