-The Asian Student Independence Alliance is a group of students who actively work to empower and amplify Asian voices within the school community to make it a more inclusive and diverse environment for everyone. Black Student Association / Club |

-The Black Student Association is a group designated as a space for students of Black identity to cultivate friendship and community, both in and outside of the school facility in weekly meetings, as well as activities, events, and potentially trips. Weekly meetings take place once a week, every Friday during periods 3-5 in room 221 for each grade to have the opportunity of joining during their lunch/spare period. The club is working on potentially meeting a second day every week (i.e. Wednesdays). Plans for this upcoming year are still under construction as students are organizing ideas of what they would like to do :) |

-GDHS Concert Band rehearses every Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 in Room 147, Sept - June -This ensemble performs a wide variety of musical genres ranging from popular music (rock, jazz, blues arrangements) to music for film/tv, and some traditional band repertoire. -Instrumentation includes winds, brass, percussion/drums, and electric bass -All students welcome; come speak to Mr. Bauer or come to a rehearsal if interested! |

-GDHS Jazz Band rehearses every Friday morning from 7:45am- 8:45am September-June -This ensemble largely performs repertoire from jazz, rock, R&B, and other similar genres -Instrumentation typically includes winds (clarinet, saxophones), brass (trumpet, trombone), percussion (drum kit and other percussion instruments), guitar (electric guitar and electric bass), and piano -Students from any other ensemble are welcome; come speak to Mr. Bauer if interested!
