Welcome to Alexander’s Public School

Established in 2006 in the heart of Burlington’s Orchard neighbourhood, Alexander’s Public School is a vibrant K-8 Dual Track school offering both English and French Immersion programs. At Alexander’s, we are deeply committed to the growth and success of every student. We celebrate our diversity, strive for academic achievement, and prioritize well-being. We create a safe environment where students feel empowered to take risks and evolve into life-long learners. 

We are recognized for our inclusive environment and our dedication to meeting a wide range of learner needs. This includes our two Community Pathways Programs (CPE), which support students with complex special education needs. 

Home of the "Nature's NEAR" Initiative We believe education extends far beyond the classroom walls. Alexander’s Public School is proud to house Nature's NEAR, a Halton District School Board Experiential Outdoor and Environmental Education Initiative. This program focuses on deepening students' understanding of their local environment while promoting responsible stewardship in their everyday lives. This unique partnership also fosters co-learning among our staff, building confidence in outdoor education.
