Gr. 12 Celebration
Our annual Gr. 12 Celebration was held on Monday, June 8th at the Burlington Convention Centre. It was a lovely evening and we were able to honour the achievements of our Class of 2026! We wish them all the best for their next adventure!
Elementary Early Dismissal - Friday, June 26, 2026
Please note that students will be dismissed at 1:10 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026. If your student rides the bus, please ensure they are aware that bus pick-up will also be at 1:10 p.m. on that day.
Secondary PA Day
Reminder that June 26th is a PA Day for all secondary students.
Lost & Found
We will be pulling items from the Lost & Found and putting them on display in the main hallway in the hopes that they find their way home. Unclaimed items will be donated to local charities after July 14th.
Grade 8 Celebration of Learning
We’ve had an overwhelming demand for extra tickets and will not be able to grant all requests, as it would put us well over capacity for the auditorium. Tickets for the Grade 8 Celebration of Learning Ceremony will be given to students at the end of the day on Monday.
Parent Council - Grade 7 and 8 Staff Appreciation Lunch
For families with students in Grades 7 and 8, School Council is hosting an Appreciation Lunch for Elementary Staff on Tuesday, June 16th. We have created a signup link to donate food to the lunch. If you are able to donate an item (nut-free), please sign up to donate an item . More details on drop-off closer to the date. Cafeteria Food Services - CLOSED
The last day of food service in our school cafeteria was today. The cafeteria team wishes all of our students a happy and safe summer and looks forward to seeing everyone in September!
Grade 7 Lunch Sign Out
Please ensure that you have completed the Grade 7 Lunch Sign-Out Form if you are granting permission for your grade 7 student(s) to sign out during lunch (2nd break) and leave the school property. Sign-out starts on June 15th. We cannot grant permission on the 15th for students to sign out if they have not completed the form by then, as we will have 200+ students signing out during the break. The form can be completed for the next day.
HDSB Graduation Coach for Black Students Program is hosting:

Locker Clean Out (Gr. 9 to 12)
Students will have the opportunity to clean out their lockers on Tuesday, June 16, during period 1. Please ensure that all contents are removed from your students' lockers. Any locks left on student lockers after the 26th will be cut off, and the contents will be donated.
Semester 2-Final Exam/Evaluation Block (Secondary)
Final evaluations (exams and final tasks/interviews) for Semester 2 courses will be taking place at school between Thursday, June 18th and Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026.

Students and families are asked to ensure that vacations and student employment schedules do not interfere with the final evaluation period. View the family letter with important information about the final weeks of June . Report cards will be emailed home on Friday, July 3rd.
Final Evaluation Review Day - Thursday, June 25th (Secondary)
Students will review their course results during Final Evaluation Review Day. Teachers will be taking attendance on this day. Below is the review day schedule:

School Social Work Support for Summer 2026
Guardians/caregivers can always reach out to their family physicians and self-refer to community mental health support at any time through ROCK Access and System Navigation (ASN) services and ROCK’s 24/7 Crisis Line . ROCK continues to be our lead mental health agency for Children and Youth in Halton. Another wonderful mental health resource is One Stop Talk .
