PROM Prom is TONIGHT ... Have an amazing time everyone!!
MOOSEHIDE Today is Moosehide Campaign Day? This campaign is an Indigenous and non-Indigenous movement of men and boys who are standing up against violence towards women and children.
The Moose Hide Campaign recognizes that all forms of violence are unacceptable, regardless of gender. In Canada, a disproportionate number of women become victims and this campaign recognizes the importance of engaging men and boys in addressing this issue. We also know that “shame and blame” is NOT the answer.
What you can do to signify your commitment to honour, respect, and protect the women in your life AND members of the Indigenous community, is to wear a Moosehide pin. You can get one from Ms. Thatcher or Mrs. Oates in the Library Learning Commons.
TOMORROW Friday, is the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia! To honour the occasion, we ask that you wear your most colourful clothing!
