• Bantam Girls Volleyball (gr. 9’s)
• Jr. Girls Volleyball (gr. 9 and 10)

*High risk sport

IMPORTANT: Any student participating in a high risk sport is ineligible for participating in any other sport in that season of play. (i.e. you can only play hockey or ski and snowboard in the winter season, you CAN’T do hockey or ski and snowboard AND volleyball or basketball). 

Students MAY NOT participate in 2 low risk team sports in the same season. For example, you can’t play basketball or volleyball AND curling.

• Girls Touch Football (not an official HSSAA sport)
• Boys Touch Football (not an official HSSAA sport)

NOTE: This is a different season than the Spring season. 

IMPORTANT: Any student participating in a high risk sport is ineligible for participating in any other activity in that season of play. (i.e. you can only play jr. hockey in the pre-spring season, you CAN’T play jr. hockey or touch football AND badminton OR you CAN’T play jr. hockey and touch football.

Students MAY NOT participate in 2 low risk team sports in the same season. For example, you can’t play touch football AND badminton.

Students MAY participate in 1 low risk team sport and 1 low risk individual sport in each of the seasons of play.  Example (Soccer or baseball or slowpitch or ultimate frisbee or tennis AND track and field).

Students may participate in 1 low risk team sport in the spring and participate in  Track and Field.   All students must meet the current HDSB Localized Minimum  Standards and OPASSE Secondary Interschool Safety Standards including number  of practices for any team in which they participate. Note: Any student participating  in a high risk sport is ineligible for participating in Track and Field in the spring.
