Course Overview
This course explores the rights and responsibilities of being an active citizen in a democratic society. Students investigate civic issues such as healthy schools, community planning, environmental responsibility, and social media influence. They will develop an understanding of civic engagement and political processes at the local, national, and global levels, applying political thinking and inquiry skills to express informed opinions on relevant issues.
